Extract from the Archives

An "Extract from our Archives" states the meticulously kept, up-to-date information registered in the Patek Philippe Archives since 1839. It can be ordered for any Patek Philippe timepiece older than five years. This service costs 100 Swiss Francs, or the equivalent amount in your local currency.

Please complete the form indicating your watch details (movement, case and reference are mandatory). The "Extract from our Archives" will be sent to you within nine weeks. This document accurately reflects the information held in the Patek Philippe Archives register (type of watch, movement number, caliber, case number, style, type of dial, date of manufacture, date of sale, bracelet type, additional information if any); it cannot be considered as a proof of authenticity, nor as a guarantee.

Registration form * required
Your Watch * required
(To discover the movement number of your timepiece, it may be necessary to remove the back of the case. We recommend that this only be done by an Authorized Retailer, Distributor or Service Center. A timepiece bearing the word "Pateck" is an imitation.)
Pictures of your timepiece * required
Please provide at least 4 photos of your watch so that we can verify its visual conformity with the respective description in our books:
  • Full frontal view / dial side (the bracelet/strap should be visible, if applicable)
  • Dial close-up (clear view of hands, numerals, and other details)
  • Case back side showing the movement and the engraved serial number. One picture is sufficient if the watch has a sapphire-crystal case back. For watches with a solid back, we will need one picture with and one without the back. To have the back removed, please contact a dealer, distributor, or Authorized Patek Philippe Service Center.
