Decorative open-faced pocket watch decorated with Matryoshka dolls in cloisonné enamel and miniature enamel. The 3 dolls on the caseback required 15 days’ work by a master enameler, using up to 20 opaque, transparent, and opalescent enamel colors; 1 m of gold ribbon with a section of 0.05 mm and approximately 20 firings. Dial: opaque purple enamel on a yellow gold base; gold applied Breguet numerals, yellow gold feuille (leaf-shaped) hands. Crown set with one briolette-cut purple sapphire (~ 0.32 ct). Hand-engraved yellow gold bow. Pocket watch stand set with one brilliantbriolette-cut purple sapphire (~ 0.38 ct). Yellow gold on a white spangled marble base. Caliber 17’’’ LEP PS IRM. Manual winding. Power-reserve indicator. Seconds subdial. Unique piece. 2011.
