Calatrava wristwatch with cloisonné enamel dial. Watch in white gold with carnation petals and harmonies of blue, orange, and red, recalling the tiled decorations of Istanbul’s loveliest imperial mosques. Dial in cloisonné enamel required more than 50 cm gold wire plus transparent, opaque, and opalescent enamels in some 10 colors. Further adorned with 113 diamonds (~0.8ct) on bezel and lugs, and 29 diamonds (~0.22ct) on strap buckle. Ultra-slim self-winding caliber 240 visible through sapphire crystal caseback. Case diameter: 38 mm. One of a limited edition set of 2 different designs. 2015.
