Calatrava wristwatch with hand-guilloched dial under cloisonné enamel. One of a set of three limited edition watches dedicated to the great passenger liners that crossed between the Old and New Worlds before the era of mass air travel. To depict arrival in Manhattan, the enameler here used up to 78 cm gold wire with translucent and opaque enamels in 20 colors, together with infusions of silver foil. Ten firings required, at temperatures of 800°C. Classic round Calatrava-style case in white gold; housing ultra-slim self-winding caliber 240, visible through transparent caseback, protected by hinged dust cover. Case diameter: 38.6 mm. Limited edition. 2015.
