The unique timepiece offered by Patek Philippe on the occasion of the Children Action 2022 charity gala was auctioned by Phillips, Bacs & Russo in Geneva on November 7 for 9.7 million Swiss francs. This record amount will allow Children Action to reinforce the support it provides children of all nationalities, cultures and faiths, by implementing various projects in several countries around the world.

Since 2005, Patek Philippe has been committed to supporting the motto "The first human right is to have a childhood" by offering a special version of an exceptional timepiece at each Children Action auction. The first ever titanium version of the perpetual calendar chronograph Ref. 5270 is the unique timepiece (Ref. 5270T-010) of this fall 2022. It also stands out with its emerald green sunburst dial and its sapphire crystal case back bearing the inscription “Children Action 2022”.

The heir of a legendary Patek Philippe classic launched in 1941 (Ref. 1518), the perpetual calendar chronograph Ref. 5270 was equipped in 2011 with the CH 29-535 PS Q caliber, entirely designed and produced in the Patek Philippe Manufacture. It also stands out with its timeless design case featuring a concave bezel, two-tier lugs, as well as satin-brushed and polished pushers. This timepiece, highly sought after by collectors, is available in the current Patek Philippe collection in four versions: yellow gold with silvery opaline dial (Ref. 5270J-001), platinum with black-gradient green lacquered dial (Ref. 5270P-014), rose gold with ebony black sunburst dial and rose gold “Goutte” bracelet (Ref. 5270/1R-001) and platinum enhanced by a setting of baguette diamonds (Ref. 5271P-001).
