Online ticketing

We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance online to ensure a smooth visit. Pre-booking allows you to bypass long queues – especially during peak hours or busy seasons – and will therefore give you more time to discover the Museum’s extraordinary treasures.

Adults: CHF 10.-
AVS / AI / Unemployed / Students (aged 18-25): CHF 7.-
Groups (as of 10 people): CHF 5.- per person

Guided Tours

The Patek Philippe Museum offers educational tours for both adults and children, allowing them to explore the rich heritage of watchmaking through the Museum's collections. The Museum suggests a tour on four levels, according to an itinerary that begins on the ground floor and continues on the third, second and first floors.

Public guided tours

Every Saturday, guided tours are offered at 2:00 PM in French and 2:30 PM in English. Due to limited availability, registration is required on-site starting at 1:00 PM.

Private guided tours (by appointment only)

Tours are available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Russian. Additionally, a 2-hour “A legacy of genius” tour showcases exceptional watchmaking masterpieces, spanning from the 16th to the 21st century.

Educational guided tours (by appointment only)

Thematic tours are also available: “Enamel or the arts of fire” explores the art of enamel painting; “The world of automatas” showcases automata and musical objects; “Revolution in time” (1h ) is for children (ages 8-16) to discover the history of horology.

Audio Guide

The audio guide offers about 20 hours of commentary in English, French, or German. Visitors can create custom itineraries or follow pre-set routes, including one by Philippe Stern himself. With 10,000 detailed photos, users can zoom in on intricate details and explore features that may be hard to see in the display cases. We recommend reserving your audio guide when booking tickets online. Depending on availability, the complimentary audio guides may be provided with a deposit of an identity card or a passport.

Bank Holidays

The Patek Philippe Museum will be closed on the following bank holidays: Friday 18th to Monday 21st April, Thursday 29th May, Monday 9th June, Friday 1st August, Thursday 11th September, Wednesday 24th December, Thursday 25th December, Tuesday 30th December to Saturday 3rd January 2026.

Les Ateliers Réunis

The art-deco building that now houses the Museum was purchased by Patek Philippe in 1975 to host Les Ateliers Réunis, a production unit for cases and bracelets where traditional Genevan goldsmithing techniques were perpetuated. After these activities moved to the Plan-les-Ouates factory in 1996, the building was restored and expanded by one floor as of 1999, before opening to the public in November 2001.

Patek Philippe Museum Catalog

This extensive catalog chronicles the complete history of the design and production of our pocket watches and wristwatches, showcasing 1,005 examples from our founding in 1839 to the 1980s. Volume I focuses exclusively on pocket watches, while Volume II covers both pocket and wristwatches. Spanning 928 pages, this detailed catalog was published in 2013.
