Reporting a theft

The Patek Philippe Archive Extracts service also handles theft notifications. You will find below the procedure to follow should your watch ever be stolen.

Please provide us with the required information so that we can record the theft of your watch. We will not be able to guarantee the registration of the theft of your watch if one of these documents is missing.

The copy of  the complaint or police report must clearly mention the following information:

  • The theft reference number
  • The movement number
  • The watch case number
  • The contact details of the authorities who issued the complaint or report.
  • The English or French translation of either the complaint or the police report, unless this document already exists in one of the following languages: French, English, Spanish, German or Italian.
If the copy of the Certificate of Origin of the watch is unavailable, you must provide us with any proof of purchase in your name. If either of these documents is not available, please provide any other document attesting that you are the legitimate owner of the watch.
