The wine route This limited edition of six watches in rose gold depicts the grapevines in the Chianti region, where the car emblematic of the dolce vita has stopped. Tracing the outlines of the grapevines and the little car in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel called for about 52 cm of gold wire (~0.35 g). The enameller then worked with a palette of transparent, opaque and opalescent enamels in 28 colors, producing a sense of volume and gradation effects. The details of the vineyard, the houses in the distance surrounded by cypress trees, and the reddening sky at dusk owe their finesse to miniature painting on enamel in 23 colors. Each dial underwent 11 firings at a temperature of 820°C. The bezel is adorned with the famous Clous de Paris or hobnail pattern emblematic of the Manufacture’s style. Dauphine-type hands in rose gold indicate the time. An alligator leather strap in shiny honey beige secured by a prong buckle in rose gold takes up the color palette of the dial. This watch is endowed with a caliber 240 ultra-thin self-winding movement, which may be admired through a sapphire crystal case back.
